Review:
Osiris: Datz
By: Luis | August 6th 2003
Osiris is a well known shoe company in the skateboarding industry and most people just know the company because of the shoe 'D3 2001'. The Osiris 'DAtz' is just another shoe Osiris has. The nightmare began around June 2002 when I first say this shoe. I saw pretty cool colors at the Osiris website and it all was good. So I went looking for pictures and I thought "Maybe it's a good looking shoe." I went to my local skateshop and got me the shoe for about $98(what a rip!). Well, after skating 4 pairs of Osiris D3 I was used to shoes with soft sole. But the Datz have a pretty hard sole and they are ok shoes. Now to the point, 'Datz' are good shoes to walk around and not to skate with. I must give my props to Osiris by making such comfortable shoes, they truly are comfortable. Comfort is the only good thing of this pair of shoe. The shoe a good shoe lace protector which saves expenses on shoelaces and Duck tape. It's comfortable and you can tie them up for slip

slip on(truley great!). As a shoe has good things it also has bad thing, the shoe has a hard sole which if you aren't used to them, it's going to be a living hell to try and skate with this shoes. Synthetic leather to protect the toe cap is a joke. 20 minutes of kickflipping ollieng and boardsliding and I can see a huge difference. Well, this shoe is good but not durable and it took me around 1 year to get adjusted to the hard sole of the shoe. It has an 'Ok' design for looks, and truly comfortable. Osiris once again has made another shoe I'm not proud of buying. I would rate this shoes as the following

Comfort: 9/10
Durability: 5/10
Design: 7/10
