1)Get your feet in a comfortable position
for a your normal 50-50 and approach the rail
or curb at a moderate speed. 180s can be done
either B/S or F/S and this can be used for B/S
50-50 too, just switch it around. It also might
be wise to learn this trick on a longer box than
usual to give you time for setup when you're in
50-50
2)Pop
your ollie and start your 50-50. If you are doing
this 180 B/s there are two ways you can do it.
You can actually ollie and turn the 180, making
sure you land away from the object. Or if you
have enough speed to make this NOT look sketchy,
you can simply apply pressure to your nose and
kind of shove your body off. This can look cool
only if you have speed to actually pop yourself
up. Else it looks cheap. But if you can ollie
then do the 180 go for that it looks better.
Now for the F/S 180s. Generally you can get away
with simply applying pressure to your tail and
shoving off if you have the speed, but try and
doing a real ollie then 180.
3)Make
sure that you don't lean to far back when positioning
your feet for the 180. Also try not to shoot out
if you are using the "shove and turn"
method.
4)If
you don't make the full 180 off you can pivot
the rest of it on your nose. Try this trick when
grinding high ledges or if the ledge has a drop
at the end. Makes it look dope.
Peace my bros.
