1)Get your feet in a comfortable position
for a your normal 50-50, keeping in mind that
you will either need to maybe have your foot alittle
more off the edge of the board than usual unless
you can kickflip in normal ollie position. Approach
the rail or curb at a moderate speed. Longer boxes
work better for first timers for more setup time.
2)Pop
your ollie and start your 50-50. (This works for
B/S 50-50s too.) As soon as you land start positioning
your feet for the kickflip. Usually by simply
turning your foot back and forth a bit to get
a firm grip. As soon as you do, pop that ollie
as high as you can off that object coming slightly
off the ledge so you don't land back on it. Think
ollie THEN kickflip because it will help make
your kickflip get higher and look cooler.
3)Flip
your board til its the full flip and stomp that
board down. You need to be fairly decent at your
kickflips to do this trick. Try practicing setting
your board on the object in 50-50 stall then try
kickfliping off. Although I find it easier to
do while moving, this might help you learn these.
4)Land
smooth and roll away, and your name is Ryan Trafford.
