Steps: 4
1)Get your feet in a comfortable position
and approach the rail or curb
at a moderate speed. If you are trying F/S boardslide
you should
probably think tweaking the board a bit and style
(try not to rack
yourself). And if you are doing B/S think DO NOT
fall on your tailbone.
This HURTS.
2)Pop your ollie and prepare for center
of the board between the trucks
to be sliding, equally distributing your pressure.
3)Falling out of this is EASY when you
first start so be carefull and
try and keep the object at the CENTER of your
board. If you catch your
truck you will be jolted through the air. Also
I'd suggest watching
where you are going. If you are doing it F/S you
will be backwards on
the object so look over your shoulder.
4)When you decide that you want to come
off the slide or have run out of
momentum you need to release pressure from your
leading foot and "pivot"
off the object. Usually if you have enough speed
this is done very
easily as long as you guide it. Be proud that
you just laned your
boardslide infront of your local buds.
