1)Get your feet in a comfortable position
and approach the rail or curb
at a moderate speed B/S or F/S but F/S tends to
be easier for most
people.
2)You need to ollie OVER the object 90
degrees opposite you would for a
board slide. Coming at an angle also helps for
FIRST timers. But I don't
recommend it for advanced.
3)Land on the center of your board and
get your balanced like a
boardslide. For some it helps to get on then think
that you are actually
BOARDSLIDING and not lipsliding for balance issues.
Most people will
shoot out for a long time before they get this
trick. Find a STRAIGHT
ledge or rail to try it on first. Slants are always
harder.
4)When you decide that you want to come
off the slide or have run out of
momentum the you'll need to turn off the object
a 90 degress. This can
be done either direction. Some find it easier
to do it one way than the
other. Land this sucker down and try it down a
handrail.
