This tutorial
will teach you how to create slide mounts for your digital
photos. These looks cool when used as thumbnails before enlarging
the photos on the screen and can make a cool background when
you are browsing through a lot of photos. Simply add some
arrows to the border of the slide for a cool slideshow viewer.
Step 1:: Open your image in Adobe Photoshop.
Step 2::Create a new image. In this tutorial
I am doing a 300 pixel by 300 pixel
image.
Step 3:: Now go to the Rectangular shape
tool. It is located unter the text tool. You might need to
click and hold in order to be able to select the Rounded Rectangular
shape. Draw the following on your blank image. Be sure to
set the fill color to white.

Step 4::Now create a drop shadow using the
following values:

Step 5:: You might need to add a stroke to
the box depending on what your background color was originally
set to when you created it. Use a stroke of 1px. Opacity of
65%. For the color use #CCCCCC.
Step 6:: Now add the image to the middle
of the slide.
Step 7:: Right click the layer with your
picture and click "Select Layer Transparency." Now
go to Select > Modify > Border and set it to 2 pixels.
Head to Edit > Fill and fill with the color #CCCCCC.
Congratulations... you now have a decent looking slide which
you can write stuff on.
