Skate
videos come from a long way back into the past,
most of us just know the videos that came out
around year 2000 and now. But have you ever seen
a video that's more than 4 years old? I'm not
talking about old school videos. Well here we
go.
I
remember when I first heard about skate videos(that
was 2 months after I started skating) I went into
a hunt to find them. So the first video I ever
saw was "Shorty's:Guilty" , I honestly
thought that was the worst video I'd ever seen,
it still is. The second I saw was Anthology by
Transworld, I must say I fell in love with the
video and I still love it. It simply is Amazing.
You just gotta see it.
This
video is story on how Skateboarding and Filming
have evolved togethere and it took 5 years to
film. It has never before seen footage(back in
the time) and it simply is great. The Video start
with a great montage and the song goes with it,
the song in my opinion makes you want to skate
more. I don't know why. In our montage we see
great tricks like a backside flip method over
a gargabe bin at love park, 360 flip down a 10
stiar, 360 ollie down the same set. It's insane.
After
our little montage we get the words Dave Swift
on how skating was done back then it's' interesting.
After that we get the part of Tom Penny with the
words of Rob Dyrdek, It's amazgin how good Tom
Penny is and you should see this, It's incredible,
It all is before he was know like today. After
that we get a Montage again and we see Insane
trick I mean they are rad, We have double 10 set,
this guy ollies down it then 360 flips down it,
tight huh? After that we have Heath Kirchart part
on the montage narrated by Andrew Reynolds, We
see Heath doing his tricks backside lipslide down
13 set and other tricks It's awesome.
Then
we go to to another montage, you know how Transworld's
videos are, they monatges have skating it's all
good. We see a kickflip to method down a 13 set
or bigger I wouldn't know, we see a backside smith
down 7, a six foot frontside kickflip indy out
of a bowl by Andrew Reynolds.
The
Montage is done and then we go to Bob Burnquist's
part, it's good I wont go into details, then we
got Josh Kallis and Stevie Williams, they are
at the Love Park, which no longers exists thank
you very much.
Neal
Mims comes in(I bet you don't know who that is),
He talks about how hard skating is when you gotta
film and you have accidents, you just gotta see
what happens to him it's amazing, Incredible.
Pretty Good. The Generator story comes in and
then we go to a montage/story it all goes together
on how skating is hard and making a video becomes
a job. Then close our deal we Have Chad Muska,
I honestly say I like him and I respect this guy
he skates in Vegas it's amazing he kickflips over
an oil drum, fs 50-50 a ledge with a knk at the
bottom and crusty metal on it, he is insane, then
he close the video.
Well,
that is my review I must say this is one of the
best video I've ever seen and it's just amazing,
you MUST see it, I recomend it. It's just great.
It'll show you about skating and how good it is.
So you must check it, the music goes with the
skating and the skating is good ol' good. So I
rate this video 10/10.
